Waaahh!

All week I’ve got this line from Jerry Garcia running through my head, which is odd since I don’t really like Jerry Garcia. Still, the line is mighty appropriate for the week thus far, “It was like a nice afternoon in hell.”

Off to see the female version of the Odd Couple tonight. Ought to be interesting. I’ve never seen the play or original film but I used to love the television show when I was little so I’m pretty stoked.

And tomorrow is Irish Fest 2003! Come one, come all. Drink, run about, listen to some excellent tunes and make merry. I will be tottering about with an assortment of weaponry doing at least two different time periods and likely throwing people up against walls and asking, “Are you British?” before shooting them in the toe. It’ll be great, really. I’m very keen to see Derek Warfield again and I hear one of my pals is doing an uileann pipes workshop so that’ll be cool. Not to mention a limited supply of free beer and all the grub you can eat. Man, that’s living.

Noontime, Saturday the 19th in Moose Park just east of Gettysburg town on Rt. 30. Mmmmm, Guinness and guns. It ought to be a marketing slogan.
