Millions and Millions served

On this 30th anniversary of Roe v. Wade everyone ought to take a moment to bow their heads and remember the 40 million plus children whose young lives were brutally snuffed out by those who have pledged to defend life. Remember how pissed everyone was when the Islamo-fascists lopped off Daniel Pearl’s head on TV? Now, imagine how disgusted and angry you’d have been if they had popped him – while still living – in an oversized blender and punched up puree. Yet, this sort of thing happens to hundreds of human beings every single day and nobody’s got the brass cajones to stand up and call it what it is.

Murder.

So much for the soapbox. My Grandmother has a shirt that I think is way over the top. It says, “Thanks Mom for not aborting me.” Pretty in your face. Usually I’d hesitate at that strident a message but being a 1973 baby and therefore perfectly positioned to be among the first of the holocaust I find those sentiments frighteningly appropriate on this day.

Later on, more Rendell bashing. You just gotta love a dude who gets up on the podium and says, in effect, I can’t promise I’ll accomplish anything I’ve just proposed today. Man, ain’t politics grand?
