None.

Why do they hate us you ask? The rest of the world that is. Is it just that their turbans are too tight? Although I generally blame the Belgians for the events of September 11 I think we can trace the beginnings of our problems to the Wizard of Menlo Park, Mr. Thomas Edison. Think about it. What is it that the world hates apart from our sheer power? My guess is they despise our culture. Generally I’m not too terribly fond of our “popular” culture so I can sort of understand. Regardless, what enabled our popular culture to spread across the globe? Probably Hollywood and in a minor way the music industry. And who is responsible for both? Naturally, the inventor of the kinetoscope and the phonograph. Without the electric light, the phonograph and the film projector would we be able to project our culture as easily or as thoroughly as we have? So, as much as I admire him I think Edison needs to share the blame with the Belgians.
