None.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Lucky we’re out here on the East Coast. If we lived on the left coast right now and tried to say that in school we could be in trouble since our dear friends, the 9th Circuit Court, have declared the pledge of allegiance unconstitutional since it coerces schoolchildren into proclaiming a belief in God.

Wonderful! I’m so glad there are some black robed MORONS watching out for our children’s well-being. Did anyone stop to think that, in spite of modern man’s disassociation with the Supreme Being that maybe, just maybe, we truly are blessed and that our very existence as a nation is and has been dependent on His favor? There aren’t many nations left that have any acknowledgement of God in their public discourse. There is, of course, God Save the Queen but the Queen doesn’t have much to do with the real nitty gritty of politics and power. In our country we open Congress with a prayer. The Supreme Court opens with, “May God save the United States and this court.” It doesn’t get much better than that. And now, some two bit atheist who obviously has led a very easy and sheltered life (noone who has dealt with want or struggled with life’s hard knocks fails to believe in something out there) wants to make sure his kids grow up godless heathens just like him and to save them from the corrupting effects of even saying the word “God” he intends to drag all of us into the pit with him.

For once our elected representatives are on it. Almost to a man they’ve denounced the court and given the Supreme Court clear notice that if they don’t strike this idiotic garbage down, Congress will. At least someone still appreciates the good favor the Republic has enjoyed these 226 years.
