None.

I am still recovering from the weekend, which is odd since I really didn’t get hogged up and went to bed (I think) at a reasonable hour every night. Regardless, it was a relatively busy time once things started in earnest. Friday was spent kicking about as I arrived in town about five minutes too late to catch the early crew so I wandered the town, annoyed that a fellow couldn’t even get a drink or a sandwich in that one horse village. Ran into the crowd around 4 and things went from there. Crabs and beer and music and discussion and a beer run and some boozing and snoozing. Saturday was an early rise. When you’re out in the field you tend to get up when the sun starts shining in your eyes. Met my men around 930. Pretty neat fellows, they were all Korean War vets so we talked a bit and drilled a bit. Then downtown for the ceremony and an afternoon of aimlessly wandering around with nothing to do since my men up and left. But I looked good so all was well. Saturday night was the winner of the weekend. Seafood and beer at Rock Hall on the deck by a marina, music on the porch and many many fine sights. Then back to the campsite and a trip down the river on the college launch complete with a stop at a little beach bar up the Chester a ways. Just bloody excellent.

Back to Mercersburg for Father’s Day and back to Gettysburg for a week which is rapidly falling apart. Hooray.

Four days to the biker wedding. Whee!
