None.

It’s been an eventful day. I nearly hit a Congressman on the way out of my alley this morning. Fortunately for him he recognized a constituent that doesn’t put up with any crap from anyone at eight o’clock in the morning and so he wisely widened his turn and let me out. It could have been ugly. Just think, my little alley, full of white trash, hippies, mexicans, puerto ricans, blacks, often the local and/or state police, bankers, congressmen and me. It’s almost a microcosm of our fine nation. I have no doubt that one could even uncover an illegal immigrant or two among my next door neighbors if one were so inclined.

Ahhh, diversity.

Anyway, the wedding season is shortly upon us so, before I forget, I have to wish the best of luck and much congratulations to the first couple to tie the knot in the summer of 2002 that was kind enough to invite me of all people to their wedding. The names are omitted to protect the guilty but they know who they are. I had thought I was missing the shindig so I could lounge around the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake this weekend in the midst of a Civil War gig/boozefest but according to the latest weather report I’ll be huddling under cover with the rest o’ the ought-to-be-committed and avoiding summer thundershowers.

Righty-o. Anyway, the best to both of you. Be good and if you can’t be good, be quick.
