		<description>No arguments here.  I think I was mostly lamenting the refusal to declare war in the modern age.  War is no less necessary now than it has been at any point in human development - we&#039;ve just all become cowards about it.

There are times - this not necessarily one of them - where war is an unabashedly good thing.  The fact that war is nearly always the least palatable of the available options does not mean that it isn&#039;t a good idea nonetheless.

		<description>Technically, Congress agreed to go to war only after the UN inspectors were finished.  GW went to war weeks/months prior to the final report that showed no WMDs.  So, our President, albeit technically, did go to war on his own.</description>
