Rick's Dad used to go 1 hour earlier than the posted start times of yard sales to help the person bring out their stuff and setup. Why? So he could "get the first look at all the goods". 6 months later, at his own yard sale, he is cursing the people that are doing the same, saying "Why in the hell are you people here so early -- it doesn't start for an hour!"
