I absolutely hate people who say, "as long as it makes me happy." That's pretty much the phrase that has led to the downfall of western civilization. Whacking slow drivers, killing hippies and Democrats, doing what I like any day of the week is what would make me happy and yet I can't bloody well do those things can I? Bloody idiotic. It is true that moderation is the key but most people can't do moderation. Listen to the morons suing McDonald's for making them fat. Visit an AA meeting sometime. Hang out with a chain smoker. Moderation is all well and good but Americans don't do moderation - looked at an SUV lately? Therefore, to preserve the sanity and values of our society we have to impose limits. I've no problem preventing gambling in PA, we don't need those translucent, flourescing grannies here. -bp Bah! Drinking\shopping\eating\sex\hobbies\television\movies...all these things are good in moderation. Hell my entire life consists of moderation.
